It's an honor to have been selected to participate in the "Homeless Animal Book Project".

In a goal to raise awareness and hopefully funds to benefit homeless animals all over the world, around 85 artists have been selected. The artists come from 33 states in the United States, along with the countries of:  Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Israel, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.  These artists will contribute their art work and story, inspired by a particular shelter animal of their choice.

"Adopting Angel" is the painting Ed Hofer created and submitted for this Book Project. The painting and its story represent a rescued dog by the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society.
