Ed's use of bold colors and design have made his dog paintings popular. He has many clients with multiple paintings, whether its different dog breeds or adding a wildlife or landscape painting to their collection.

The eyes and expressions are usually the first things to catch your attention in his dog paintings. Maybe that's no coincidence. For Ed, the eye is the first thing he paints. He feels the eye lets him look into the soul of the dog and it helps guide the direction of the painting. For some, the painted eyes even hold a special treasure.
